#PinspirationMonday: An Update on the Back Deck
Remember this spring when I showed you our back deck area?
I showed the Mr. some of my inspiration pics and he was right on board with bringing some new life back here. He went straight to work and made a fabulous pergola. In 4 hours. Yep, you read it right. 4. It was love at first sight I tell you. (Wondering if I’m talking about him or the pergola, aren’t you. It’s safe to say, both 🙂 ) I stained it then got to work painting the bar we had inside with outdoor paint. My fingers are crossed it holds up through the summer. I had enough paint left over to also put a fresh coat on the faded shed you see in the pictures above. Shopped the house for some furniture, added a few DIY rugs, some pillows, throws, candles, and are you ready to see where we are today?
As usual, I’ll be tweaking things here and there. But for now, we’re just hoping for the rain to hold off one of these nights so we can enjoy it!
