Happy New Year! Welcome back 😉 I hope you had a fantastic holiday with family and friends.

My very first project of 2016? A “new” sign.  Decorating the mantle after hanging the TV above it has been, well, challenging.  So, I decided that since the Christmas “believe” sign fit just right – I’d just repaint it.  :-). Yep, a coat of white paint (or more like 3) and a new stencil and I was in business.

The color Is “Chelsea Grey” by Benjamin Moore and I am Looooving it.  I might even put it in my son’s room somewhere soon too.

And by the way, since these lights are technically outdoor lights… I’ve left them up because I just like the glow they give to this otherwise dark corner.

They’ll be coming down soon, but I’m holding on as long as I can. 😉

So, on the other side of this half wall you see here is a complete mess…

…but for good reason.  For my Christmas/Birthday present this year I got a Farmhouse Sink and I CANNOT WAIT TO SHARE IT!  Word of advice? Make sure to line up the plumber before installing your sink… ha… now as for me, I’ll be ‘patiently’ waiting by the phone for the plumber to call with his earliest availability.  Yes…we live and learn, eh?  Looks like it’s take out again, kids!  😉
