Back to Blueberry Hill

I always get a bittersweet feeling when I put Christmas away: sad that it’s over, yet excited for a new year to begin…

..and, the fresh, clean feeling when it all goes back into the attic isn’t too bad either. 😉

We decided to move the farm table back into the dining room to free up some space in the kitchen; I like how it compliments the wood shingles that we recently added in there.

And the kids enjoy the runway that it’s opened up from the dining room to the living room.  Let’s face it, the kids need some room to run around during these colder months.  The Mr. and my son decided to use it for tackle practice. Boys…

I moved the demijohn bottle to the table and paired it with some cotton stems from Michaels.  I get all excited in a dorky kind of way when I see them silhouetted against the picture window.

And you know me- I just.can’t.stop.  So what’s next on the chopping block here at Blueberry hill?  The little’s man’s room! 🙂 I’m thinking Shiplap…barn door… and you know…”guy” stuff.  Stay tuned!
