Pinspiration Monday: Playhouses
Completely guilty: My gift this Mother’s day were window boxes that I had begged hinted around for. As our truck backed down the driveway with the load of wood to make said window boxes, little man leaped for joy yelling, “yay daddy’s making our playhouse!” My heart fell to the floor. Sorry buddy. To make it up to you, (and lighten the load of guilt I have for not asking for a playhouse for Mother’s day) I thought I’d get the wheels turning on a real playhouse. Here are a few of my absolute favorites: I mean, what little kid wouldn’t want to spend time in this thing? A slide to boot? Yes, please get in my backyard perfect playhouse. You can find out how the homeowners created this baby over on thehandmadehome.net. Well done you guys, I bow down to your DIY skills. Ok next up:
Seems simple enough, right? And look we can have coffee in there too. Win win. I’d probably tweak this design a bit and make it only a step or two up so the little miss can get in and out without taking a header. Might be a little too simple. So how about…
Sand Shmand. A mini garden below for the kids to dig? Perfect! Dirt French manicures here we come. Insert a ship’s wheel in place of the steering wheel and we might have a winner here. Which one do you like the most? Love to hear from you!
I Like number three the best …maybe add cute curtains to it…the dirt underneath is great!
Me too! Yes the dirt part is my favorite, my little diggers would love to plant something there too!
That one from handmade home has always had me swooning! Although its definitely a little high up and quite large 🙂
