Open Shelving in the Kitchen
Hi friends! I’m not sure how we landed on Friday… but here we are and boy am I glad to be here. Earlier this week I mentioned on Instagram how much I still love open shelving. They instantly add charm to any kitchen and offer a place to not only display pretty dishware, but serve as a platform for décor too. We tried our hand at them in our first house close to 6 years ago:
…And when we moved to our current home, I couldn’t wait to install them again. Needless to say, I think this ‘trend’ here here to stay:
I asked some of you to share your favorites and/or your very own versions and of course you didn’t disappoint. Here’s a roundup of a few favorites:
These beauties you see below belong to Sherri (@rustic_revivals on IG), and oh how I love how she’s styled them:
And another version by @yvetteelenavintagelove:
(Thank you, Monique, for your entry!)
And a sweet DIY duo @prj815 and @ajgagne707 made these together this summer:
Yes, its amazing how a few inexpensive shelves give a whole new look to any kitchen. Here are a few more of my very favorites before we go:(Photo credit @themorrismanor on IG)
And these two stunning sets by Jenna Sue @jennasuedesignblog:
Ah yes, the possibilities are endless: rustic, cottage, industrial or classic -They get me every single time. Have you added a set to your home? I’d love to see!
Thank you for stopping in today, have a fantastic weekend!
Hello. You were recommended to me by Monique
Senerian. I have a small cape that my husband and I
purchased in May. I am looking for some assistance to
decorate the living room and kitchen. Is this something
you would be able to help ? I can send pictures of the
rooms if that would help. I also have no clue what type
of cost this would be. Thanks. Bonnie wright
