#DIY Dining Room Renovation: Part 2
Ok guys here we go! First angle is looking into the dining room from the kitchen island. One of my favorite views (when I can keep the farmhouse table clean… it doubles as my craft area, an office for my husband…a dumping zone, etc.)
Walking closer now…. notice the cotton boll wreath? I’m actually a little obsessed with it. I don’t even care if it’s supposed to be seasonal. I love it and all it’s rustic-soft-texture goodness all year ’round.
Next up is a closer view of the dining chairs. Anyone else love stripes? I apparently do. These were a Christmas gift and trust me they keep on givin’ all year round.
Here’s a view of the drop cloth curtains that I DIYed. Looking back I have no idea how I did so many. I do remember sweating it out during nap, worried I’d have one of the littles wake up in the middle of a frantic paint sesh. Funny what a little sleep deprivation will make you do.
So I couldn’t help but add this next one; the lilacs this year were unbelievable. I’m lucky they decided to make a debut the same time I was doing this photo shoot. And yes it might be weird to have a crush on décor items but this toolbox I picked up from Homegoods has me smiling every time I look at it. It’s the perfect centerpiece for the long table.
Here’s a few I’ll slide in there just for good measure… why not?
On this next one you might notice the wine rack… which is another DIY project with a Pallet. Stay tuned for a quick tutorial on that.
Ok and how about a side by each ‘cus really, who doesn’t love a good before and after shot!?
There you have it. This makeover has truly been a labor of love. We hope you enjoyed the view!
