DIY Hydrangea Wreath
Coming to you today with a quick (and I mean like 15 minutes, tops) and easy DIY wreath. While playing out on the driveway with the kiddos this morning, I noticed that I still had the spring wreath hanging out on the front door. Time for an update – we’re practically into summer! Yay I love even saying that.
I used the same wreath form I used for the spring tulip wreath, just took out the tulips and stashed them into the attic for next year. I love the grape vine wreaths – they seem to be the easiest to work with (we’re talking no glue gun necessary). See I told you this one was easy ;-).
Next, I grabbed some fake hydrangea stems I bought years ago from The Christmas tree Shops and cut them into short stems. Like so:
Then I simply stuck in the stems (all going in one direction) until I made it all the way around. Lastly, I added in a few leaves to break up the white blooms a bit. And there we have it folks, a summer wreath in under 20 minutes and $0. Enjoy!
