Dollar Store Decor
Innocently enough, I packed the troops into the car and headed to the dollar store to return a few unused foamboards this morning. Much to my surprise, they only take exchanges… ah shucks. ;-). The kids and I had a ball! We had to hunt for 16 items ladies and gentlemen. Ohhh happy day. Hyped up on ring pops we left the store with a handful of fall goodies to add to our entryway:
The kids helped me shop around the house for some other things to add to our display:
We started with the large lantern that had been handed down to me earlier this summer from my sister-in-law:
Then, we added the old window frame that had been waiting for a new home since the day I saved it from the shed demo.
The suitcase and table were my Grammy’s:
The roped vase and fur scarf were gift from my mom that she got at Homegoods.
The large pumpkin in the lantern was a gift from my mother-in-law and I believe she got it at Hallmark.
And, last but not least the glass pumpkins and the fall floral were the treasures we brought home this morning from the Dollar Tree 🙂
There you have it folks, a fall entryway put together with pieces from some special people in our lives.
Have you brought a bit of fall into your home yet? I’d love to see/hear all about it….Let’s chat!
